Blues full-back on sixth 1-1 draw in seven games

James Bree said he was 'gutted' that Town didn't take all three points following a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest at Portman Road.

Collin Quaner gave Blues the perfect start when he slotted in after just five minutes, but a Jon Nolan own goal saw the sides head into half-time level.

Town then dominated the second half but were unable to beat Forest shot-stopper Costel Pantilimon a second time.

"After that sort of performance I'm gutted we didn't get the three points, all the lads are," James told iFollow Ipswich.

"We were really on it in the second half and I don't think Forest had a sniff. We've said before that the performances are there but we just can't quite get the results we want.

"It's frustrating because we're showing we are capable but again today we couldn't get the win we deserved.

"It sounds a bit silly but we need a bit of luck. When you get stuck in a relegation battle it feels like nothing goes your way and I think it was like that today.

"But as I've said it was a good performance. I'm enjoying the games at the moment so I'm not really looking forward to the international break but at the same time it's a good opportunity to rest before another match at Portman Road in two weeks."
