“Without a doubt our best performance of the season" says Jon after his goal gives Town a draw at Hawthorns
Jon Nolan said it was Town’s best display of the season after finding the net with his first ever headed goal in the draw at West Brom.
The midfielder’s 48th minute strike cancelled out Stefan Johansen’s early opener at the Hawthorns.
“To come to a difficult place like this, they were one of the favourites to go up at the start of the season. Yet, we've come here today, played our way and we're bitterly disappointed to only come away with a point.
“It's been the story of our season, fine margins going against us but we kept going and going. The gaffer told us at half-time how well we were playing, we carried that on into the second-half and we got the early goal. It’s just disappointing we didn't get the winner.
“It’s the first header I've scored in my life - I'm talking from U9s, training, anything! It was a good one though!
“I just want to get into the box and score goals. We need goals - wherever they're going to come from.”
