Blues midfielder acknowledged for community involvement
Cole Skuse has been named Town's PFA Community Champion of the season.
The 33-year-old has been involved in a number of projects for the Club this campaign, and collected his trophy at last night's end of season dinner.
Cole attended a visit at Ipswich Hospital in December, just days after having surgery on his knee, and also played his part in supporting the Elena Baltacha Foundation earlier in the season.
More recently he has helped with the Club's 'School of the Day' campaign, while also making it very clear to staff that he is more than happy to attend other community events as and when needed.
Cole has been a credit to the Club ever since he arrived in 2013 and it is only right that his efforts off the pitch have been rewarded this term.
Freddie Sears' strike at Villa Park won Goal of the Season, Jack Lankester was awarded Young Player of the Year and Luke Chambers was Corporate Customers' Player of the Season.
