90 per cent renew for next year with boss impressed by take up
Paul Lambert says he’s been amazed and delighted by the take up on season tickets with more than 90 per cent of season ticket holders having renewed for next year.
The tally is now over 11,000 with the Early Bird deadline coming into play on May 6.
“I think that’s amazing support, to get more season ticket holders for next year than we’ve had this year after being relegated,” the Town boss told the Club website.
“The Club has got to be delighted with that figure. That shows you what a fantastic fanbase the Club has and we’re going to need that support again next season.”
Those renewing can take advantage of the best prices for 2019/20, with adult season ticket holders able to watch Blues play from just £14.08 per game in the Family Enclosure and £14.47 per match in the lower tiers behind the goals - a cut of up to 15 per cent compared to 2018/19.
The cheapest prices stay in place until May 6 but any supporter who purchases a season ticket for 2019/20 before the first day of the season will have their ticket frozen at that price if the Club is promoted to the Championship for 2020/21.
A reminder that if 12,000 season tickets are sold before the Early Bird deadline, prices will drop by an additional 10 per cent. If 13,000 sold - that will increase to a 15 per cent discount; if 14,000 are sold - that will trigger an extra 20 per cent drop.
