Young Blues prevail against Norwich to reclaim trophy at Portman Road
Town U16s won the Hospital Cup at the weekend by beating Norwich City on penalties following a 2-2 draw at Portman Road.
Harley Curtis opened the scoring for Blues from the penalty spot in the first half before Michael Bareck struck for the hosts in injury time to take the game to penalties.
Shot-stopper Antoni Bort, who saved three Canaries penalties en route to victory, fired in the final spot kick as Town triumphed 8-7 in the shoot-out.
It's the first time Town have won the annual Academy fixture since 2015, ending a run of four straight Norwich victories.
