Emmanuel latest homegrown Blue to extend stay at Portman Road
Town have taken up the option on Josh Emmanuel, keeping the 21-year-old at Portman Road for at least another year.
The defender signed a three year deal in November 2016 having just broken into the first-team, with Blues now activating the extra 12 months on top.
Josh has made 28 appearances for the first-team, as well as spending loan periods at Rotherham over the second half of last season and Shrewsbury between August and December of this term.
He joins a long list of Academy graduates at Town including Flynn Downes, Teddy Bishop, Myles Kenlock, Luke Woolfenden, Jack Lankester, Harry Wright and Idris El Mizouni who have been handed new contracts or extensions over the last six months.
