Fantastic servant to Club leaves with some silverware!

Town paid tribute to Club stalwart Ken Goody during half-time of Sunday’s win over Leeds.

Ken has worked for Blues for more than 30 years, as a coach with the Academy and later as a kit man for the reserves and now U23s, as well as assisting on first-team duties.

He joined the U23 team on the pitch at half-time, with the team showing off the trophy they won for topping the regionalised Professional Development League 2.

That trophy was presented to Ken as a thank you for his service before he steps down from his role at the Club.

“Ken has been a fantastic servant to Ipswich Town and he will be missed for sure. We wish him well for whatever the future brings for him,” Town’s general manager of football operations, Lee O’Neill, told the Club website.
