Flynn Downes has praised midfield veteran Cole Skuse, and said that he reminds him of former Manchester United and England midfielder Michael Carrick.
The 20-year-old often partners the 33-year-old in the middle of the park for Town, and Flynn believes Cole sometimes doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
"He is different level in my opinion," Flynn said.
"He reminds me of Michael Carrick. Carrick didn't get the praise he deserved but he was a brilliant footballer and was similar to Skusey in terms of how they play.
"I love playing alongside Skusey, though. He reads the game so well and I feel like when I'm with him I can do what I want.
"He makes the game so much easier for players around him and I can learn so much from someone like him."
