“If we want to get promoted, we have to have 18-20 ready players, not just 12 or 13" says Tomas as 'keepers unite
Tomas Holy says the goalkeepers’ union is thriving at Portman Road.
The Town stopper has been on the bench for the recent League One games with Will Norris in goal but the Czech returned to the side for last night’s clash with Wycombe and produced a brilliant save from Joe Jacobson’s late penalty to earn Blues a point.
“It doesn’t matter who plays. The team being successful is much bigger than an individual being successful,” Tomas told iFollow Ipswich.
“Me and Will support each other. That’s the main thing, to keep this chemistry between every one of us but especially the goalkeepers.
“If we want to get promoted, we have to have 18-20 ready players, not just 12 or 13. We both work really hard on the training ground. We both want to play and we both want to leave everything on the pitch. That’s the most important thing for the gaffer.”
