Supporters playing their part in the development of homegrown Blues as Youth Cup kicks off

Blues Foundation members and Academy sponsors will be guests of the Club at Portman Road on Wednesday as Town begin this season’s Youth Cup quest.

Adem Atay’s side take on King’s Lynn Town in the first round of the competition, kick-off 7.45pm.

Blues Foundation members will enjoy the Club’s award-winning Portman Pie before watching the match in the VIP seating area adjacent to the Sir Bobby Robson Suite. All Academy sponsors will be able to watch the match from the Directors Box.

The Blues Foundation is the Club’s official lottery and all monies after prize fund expenses are donated to the Academy.

“Marcus Evans [Club owner] puts funding into the Academy but it’s important the Club generates its own income to help towards the development of the next homegrown players and the Blues Foundation is one way of doing that,” Town’s director of sales, Rosie Richardson, told the Club website.

Blues Foundation members can win weekly cash prizes plus ITFC related items including hospitality and signed memorabilia. There’s also an annual jackpot of £20,000 to be won, with members also invited to attend exclusive events from quizzes to Academy matches.
