JUDGE CAPPED BY IRELAND

14 November 2019

Alan in action against Kiwis as Republic warm up for vital Euro clash

Alan Judge won his ninth cap for the Republic of Ireland in their win over New Zealand.

The Town midfielder came on as a second-half substitute as the Republic recovered from going a goal down to win 3-1 in a friendly in Dublin.

Former Blue, Tommy Smith, played the last 20 minutes for New Zealand, going up against his ex-Town boss, Mick McCarthy, who is in charge of the Irish.

Alan remains with the Republic for their crucial European Championship qualifier against Denmark on Monday, with the Irish likely to need a win to qualify for the finals.
