ANTHONY | WE NEED TO GET BACK ON TRACK

25 October 2019

"We go into every game wanting three points but I think this one is particularly important."

Anthony Georgiou has emphasised the importance of Town's clash with Southend tomorrow, as Blues look to bounce back from successive defeats.

Paul Lambert's side fell to their first loss of the season at Accrington Stanley last weekend, before going down 2-0 at home to Rotherham on Wednesday, but travel to Roots Hall sitting joint top of League One with a game in hand.

"We go into every game wanting three points but I think this one is particularly important for us because we've lost the last two matches," the Spurs loanee told iFollow Ipswich.

"Yes they were our first two defeats of the season but we want to get back on track quickly because things were going well before the last two games.

"The good thing this week is that we've had a few games so we don't have to wait too long to try and put thing right.

"If we react in the right way then I'm confident we can get the win tomorrow."
