Armando included in Albania U19 squad for qualifying tournament

Armando Dobra has been called up by Albania at U19 level for their European Championship qualifiers next month.

The teenage Town midfielder has been named in the squad for their qualifying tournament games against Greece, Iceland and Belgium.

Albania face Greece on 13 November, hosts Belgium three days later and finish off their group against Iceland on 19 November.

Armando’s call-up sees him scheduled to report for international duty after Town’s FA Cup first round tie against Lincoln next weekend.

He will miss the Leasing.Com Trophy visit to Colchester and the League One game at Oxford on 16 November.

If Town have three players called up for international duty the weekend of the Oxford fixture, the game is likely to be postponed.

Armando completes his three match suspension for his red card at Accrington when Town visit Rochdale next Tuesday.

Meanwhile Ben Folami has been named in the provisional Australia U23 squad for games against Costa Rica, North Korea and hosts China.
