New Ed Sheeran trail launched at Portman Road
The Ed Sheeran Trail has been launched by Ipswich Borough Council and takes in nine landmarks in Ipswich that are of significance to Ed's global breakthrough.
The Club is the first stop on the trail, before taking in Steamboat Tavern, University of Suffolk, The Swan, Town Hall, Ipswich Musuem, Halberd Inn, Christchurch Park and finishing at Christchurch Mansion where the unique Ed Sheeran: Made in Suffolk exhibition is in the Art Gallery until May 2020.
The pubs listed above are all venues that Ed performed at on his way to becoming the global superstar he is today.
Town's general manager of football operations, Lee O'Neill spoke of the benefits of the trail to the Club "We are delighted the trail starts here, it might bring people here who don't otherwise come and we feel we are a very important part of the town."
Participants will have the chance to win some exculsive signed Ed merchandise through taking part in the trail.
