Legends reunited for a night of Town memories
Paul Mariner will be back at Portman Road alongside John Wark in December for an evening of Town talk and entertainment.
An Evening with Paul Mariner and John Wark takes place in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite on Friday, 13 December, with former Town player and coach Bryan Hamilton hosting the event.
Mariner scored 135 goals in 336 games for Blues in eight years at the Club before heading to Arsenal and played a leading role in the 1978 FA Cup success and UEFA Cup glory in 1981.
Wark had three separate spells at Portman Road and won the Club’s Player of the Year award four times in a career that saw him make more than 600 appearances for Town and be one of the inaugural members of the Club’s Hall of Fame.
Like Mariner, he was an integral part of Bobby Robson’s glorious team of the late 1970s and early 80s.
Hamilton was a team-mate of Wark’s at Portman Road, playing close on 200 games for Blues before joining Everton. A Northern Ireland international alongside George Best, he also managed his country.
The evening, which will be full of Town memories, will include a two course meal with wine and a raffle for those attending.
