BOSS EYES RECORD BREAKERS

18 October 2019

“We are certainly playing well enough to keep it going. We will see how far we can go”

Paul Lambert says his Town side are playing well enough to make their mark on the record books at the Club.

Table-topping Blues travel to Accrington on Sunday defending an unbeaten start to the League One season that now stands at 11 games.

Town are also looking to record a sixth successive victory in all competitions for the first time in 20 years.

“It’s nice to be up there challenging for those records and it’s up to us to try and keep it going,” Town boss Paul told the Club website.

“We are certainly playing well enough to keep it going. We will see how far we can go.”

The Club’s longest unbeaten run in the League from the start of the season is 14 set in 1980/81.

The match at the WHAM Stadium kicks off at midday and is being shown live on Sky Sports. Live commentary is also available on iFollow.
