Wing-back nominated for Player of the Month trophy
Kane Vincent-Young has been nominated for the SkyBet League One Player of the Month award for September.
The Blues full-back, who has also operated in a wing-back role for the Club, scored two goals in the month including a crucial winner away to Gillingham.
The 23-year-old capped off a 25-pass move when he headed in at Priestfield as Paul Lambert's side won 1-0, while also getting on the score sheet at Portman Road against Tranmere in a 4-1 success for Town.
The summer arrival also formed part of a defensive shield for the Club, with Blues conceding just one goal in four league games during September.
Kane has been nominated along with Jonson Clarke-Harris (Bristol Rovers), Mo Eisa (Peterborough United) and James Henry (Oxford United).
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The winner will be announced on Friday, 11 October.
