FLYING SQUAD!

18 October 2019

"The guys that don’t play are equally as important as the players that are out on the pitch" says Paul

Paul Lambert has reiterated the importance of the squad as Town look to maintain a promotion push at Accrington on Sunday.

Blues sit four points clear of second-placed Wycombe with a game in hand after an unbeaten start to the League One campaign - in which 22 players have seen action for Town so far.

“The guys that don’t play are equally as important as the players that are out on the pitch,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“Players train all week and if they are not involved at the weekend, they are sure to be disappointed.

“I understand that so it’s important that we use the squad and I’ve done that. I have played a lot of them. It’s not as though no one has had game time and they have all performed. I know I can trust every player to go in and do a job for us.”
