Luke Garbutt said he is impressed with the way Town players have taken to the challenge of League One this season, following the disappointment of relegation last campaign.
Blues head to Accrington at the weekend sitting top of the league table and having not lost in the league this term, with summer arrival Luke having contributed three goals during the strong start.
"Off the back of last season it's understandable that there was negativity but I'm impressed with the way the lads have knuckled down this season," the 26-year-old told iFollow Ipswich.
"There was a focus of trying to win as quickly as possible. We did that in the first game of the season and we've gone on from there.
"I'm pleased with the way I've integrated into the team and the way the lads have taken the experience of last season and turned it into a positive thing this campaign.
"Everyone is buzzing at the moment and the mood around camp is as good as it could be really. We need to take that into a tough test away at Accrington on Sunday."
