Norris pleased to get his chance but wanted a clean sheet
Will Norris was delighted to have played his part in Town’s win at Southend but disappointed he didn’t mark his league debut for Blues with a clean sheet.
The Wolves loanee looked to be on for a shut out until Emile Acquah’s consolation for the Shrimpers late on at Roots Hall.
“I was pleased to get a start and it was a great win for us,” Will told the Club website.
“It was tough conditions with the wind and they had a new manager and were looking to bounce back after a big defeat here in the week and we handled it well.
“I’m like any player. I want to play games and when you’re not, it frustrating but we have a really strong goalkeeping department here and that gives the boss a dilemma.
“We have such a good squad here that the manager could pick two XIs s but that’s good for the Club and the important thing is we all support each other.
“The only disappointment for me is that I didn’t keep a clean sheet.”
