Blues support lifesaving initiative
Blues defender James Wilson visited St Matthew’s Primary School, where pupils were taught life saving CPR by the Club’s back of the shirt charity partner, East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Paramedic, Mark Milsom of East Anglian Air Ambulance delivered CPR sessions to over 60 children and James, which provided youngsters with the skills to potentially save somebody’s life.
Restart a Heart Day is an annual initiative, into its sixth year, which aims to increase public awareness of cardiac arrests and increase the number of people trained in life saving CPR by organising and facilitating training events.
James added, “It’s vitally important that more and more people become trained in life saving CPR, because you just don’t know what’s around the corner.”
Town have been working closely with East Anglian Air Ambulance since it was announced in the summer that the life saving charity would be the Club’s back of the shirt charity partner for the 2019/20 season.
