“We need to get back to the level that got us to the top of the league"

Cole Skuse has welcomed Wednesday’s game against Rotherham as a chance to bounce back from the defeat against Accrington.

Blues went down to a first league defeat of the season at the WHAM Stadium, with Colby Bishop grabbing both goals in a 2-0 win for Stanley.

“It will be a tough game Wednesday and we will be looking to bounce back, not just results wise but performance wise,” Cole told iFollow Ipswich.

“We need to get back to the level that got us to the top of the league.

“We know what we are up against at Accrington. We didn’t start the game well enough and didn’t give ourselves a foothold in the game.

“There are challenges that come with being Ipswich Town and being top of the table and being unbeaten but we have to deal with that.

“Granted we had a couple of things go against us but we can only apologise as a group for the way we started the game and try and put things right on Wednesday.”
