Popular young fans initiative revamped

Town's young fan engagement initiative, 'First Time Fans' has been enhanced to create more lasting memories for junior supporters who are visiting Portman Road for the very first time.

The experience, launched in February 2019, sees first time fans on a matchday receive a certificate to commemorate their first home fixture which is signed by Blues boss Paul Lambert and Club captain Luke Chambers.

More than 300 young supporters have seen Portman Road for the very first time since the intiative was introduced.

The new and improved experience will now see young fans taken pitchside to collect their certificate, while also having the opportunity to have a photo with Club mascot Bluey.

This is part of the Club's commitment to engage further with young fans along with initiatives such Class of Blues, School of the Day, Junior Announcer and the Young Fans Forum, along with activities on matchdays in the FanZone.
