Blues close to three international call-ups that could trigger delay in Wycombe visit
Town's fixture against Wycombe Wanderers at Portman Road, scheduled for Saturday, 12 October, could be postponed.
That weekend is designated for international fixtures, with no Premier League and Championship games taking place.
League One and League Two have a full fixture list but if a club receives three international call-ups then that club has the right to ask permission for the scheduled game to be postponed.
Anthony Georgiou, on loan from Tottenham, has been named in Cyprus’ squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers away to Kazakhstan on Thursday, 10 October and at home to Russia three days later.
Armando Dobra has been given a call-up as well. The Blues midfielder is in the Albania U19 squad for a friendly against Poland on 14 October.
Alan Judge is also expected to be in contention for a spot in the Republic of Ireland squad having featured for the Boys in Green in their most recent Euro qualifier against Switzerland.
Earlier this month Town's trip to Rochdale was postponed because of international fixtures (now to be played on Tuesday, 5 November).
That decision was made following call-ups for Anthony Georgiou, Armando Dobra, Andre Dozzell, Idris El Mizouni and Alan Judge.
