Blue Army on the march as boss says 'we know we are a scalp but I’d rather have that than not'

Town will be backed by a 3000 strong Blue Army at tonight’s visit to MK Dons.

Blues sit second in League One, a point behind Coventry with a game in hand and remain unbeaten following Saturday’s goalless draw at home to Doncaster.

“It’s been a good start. I would have liked more points of course but we have been playing well,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“We are up there just off the top. We know we are a scalp but I’d rather have that than not and a lot of teams would be happy to be where we are.

“It’s a tough league, with so many games and we have to go again tonight at MK Dons but we will be ready.

“We will have a look at how the players are after the weekend. Luke [Garbutt] is on his way back; Nolo [Jon Nolan] is okay now; Will Keane got a few minutes on Saturday. It will take time for him because he’s been out for a while but squad wise we are getting there.”

You can still purchase tickets on the night at Stadium MK, with cash turnstiles in operation for away fans.

Supporters are also reminded that anyone caught in possession of a flare inside the stadium is at risk of police action.
