“I think that was the first time I have come off injured in my career so it was frustrating"
James Norwood is set to give Town a boost by being fit for Saturday’s trip to Gillingham.
The 29-year-old striker was forced off during the first-half of the win against MK Dons on Tuesday with a long-standing groin problem.
“I think that was the first time I have come off injured in my career so it was frustrating,” the Town striker told the Club website.
“It’s okay now though. It has settled down well. I’m training today and will be fit for selection for Saturday.
“It’s something I have been carrying for a while and it just affected me on Tuesday. I had it at Tranmere and we have been managing it here with the physio staff at the Club.
“We are looking at different options but I’m continuing to play so it’s not a problem at the moment.”
