"Once I have a few starts under my belt, the match sharpness should be there" says striker

Will Keane is hoping that it won't take him long to get back to playing his best football.

The striker, who suffered a hamstring injury at the end of last season, returned to action with the U23s last month and has since been involved in Town's last two league fixtures against Doncaster Rovers and MK Dons.

"Hopefully it won't be too long until I'm back to my best," Will said.

"If I can get some more minutes over the next few games then that would be great and I'm sure once I have a few starts under my belt the match sharpness will be there.

"In training I feel good. I feel fit and if I can get a goal as soon as possible then I'll kick on from there.

"Nors (James Norwood) and Kayden (Jackson) have started the season really well and are scoring goals so if I can chip in as well then it will give us a good chance of being right up there at the end of the season."
