“Everyone in the squad can bring something to the team" says Will
Will Keane believes Paul Lambert’s ability to rotate his line-up will boost Town’s promotion ambitions.
The striker has made two substitute appearances since recovering from surgery on a damaged hamstring in the summer and is keen to play his part in Blues’ bid to make an instant return to the Championship but recognises the importance of the squad game.
“It will be a long, hard season but we’ve got a good squad, a lot of competition for places and you need that if you are going to be successful,” Will told the Club website.
“The gaffer has shown already that he will rotate things in certain positions and that will be important for us.
“Everyone in the squad can bring something to the team and there will be times when someone needs a rest and the gaffer will have the players there that can step in. That’s vital.”
