Striker hungry for more after return to first-team action

Will Keane said he is delighted to be back involved with the first-team at Town, having come on in the 79th minute against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

The Blues striker, who signed for the Club on a one-year deal in August having been on loan at Portman Road last season, had been sidelined with a hamstring injury but made his comeback in the goalless draw at the weekend.

"I was delighted to be involved again, especially at Portman Road," he told iFollow Ipswich.

"I've been itching to get out there for the last couple of weeks so I really enjoyed it and now I'm just looking to kick on and get some more minutes under my belt.

"Physically I feel good and ready to go again. There are a lot of games coming up so the gaffer might look to rotate in certain areas and I'm ready when I get the call.

"Training has been going well and it's been a good start to the season for the team so I'm desperate to be involved going forward."
