BALLOT DETAILS FOR SEASON TICKET HOLDERS

Step-by-step process on how you can return to Portman Road

The Club is now able to confirm full details of the ballot process for season ticket holders which will be in place for Town’s home double header against Portsmouth on Saturday, 12 December [kick-off 3pm] and Burton Albion on Tuesday, 15 December [kick-off 7.45pm].

A maximum of 2000 fans will be allowed to attend each game, in line with Government guidance. Season ticket holders will be required to register their interest for each home match, which will give them entry into that game's ballot process. 

With around 9000 season ticket holders, the Club has decided to use a balloting process to allocate tickets for every home game until further notice. The ballot will have rules in place to ensure a fair distribution of access to games amongst season ticket holders.

Please note there will be an individual ballot for each game so if you wish to attend both the Portsmouth and Burton fixtures, you’ll need to enter both ballots.

Only one person from each group [bubble] of fans needs to complete the ballot application on behalf of their group members. If you’re planning to attend alone, you must enter the ballot process. If you’re in a group, one of you will need to get the details of the others wishing to attend together and enter the ballot on behalf of the whole group.

Disabled season ticket holders can contact the Club's disability liaison officer for help regarding ballot entry on 01473 400556 and at lee.smith@itfc.co.uk. 

The minimum age for entering the ballot on your own is 14 years of age. Children aged 13 years and under will need to be entered into the ballot with an adult.

Season ticket holders who live in a current Tier 3 area are not permitted to attend matches.

It is unlawful to attend a match and mix with anyone outside of your household/support bubble. You should only apply in the ballot for those in your household or support bubble. 

This is a new process for everyone. Here's how it works...

 

WHEN DO THE BALLOTS OPEN AND CLOSE? 

Season ticket holders will be able to enter the ballot to attend Town’s game against Portsmouth from Thursday, 3 December at midday until Monday, 7 December at 10am.

There is an additional 48 hours for season ticket holders to enter the Burton Albion ballot. It will also open at midday on Thursday, 3 December, but it will close at 10am on Wednesday, 9 December.

The ballots will not act as a first come, first served process - no matter at what time you enter the ballot, this will not impact the likelihood of you obtaining a ticket.

 

HOW DO I ENTER THE BALLOT?

To enter the ballot, visit https://tickets.itfc.co.uk and log in using your Supporter ID and password.

Once logged in, you will need to click on your name with your Supporter ID in brackets which will be displayed where the sign in button was (highlighted above).

Within your account, navigate to ‘My Friends and Family’. Ensure all those who you wish to attend and sit with at matches are added to this section. To add additional members to your group, click on ‘Manage my relationships’ – once you have clicked on this option, you will be able to add additional supporters to your group by clicking on ‘Create a Relationship’ and then following the on-screen instructions (displayed below). Please note, it is unlawful to attend a match and mix with anyone outside of your household/support bubble. You should only apply in the ballot for those in your household or support bubble. 

Once you have ensured all supporters required are added to your friends and family group, navigate back to the homepage of https://tickets.itfc.co.uk

You’ll then be able to click ‘Apply Now’ on the home match ballot banner which will be prominent on your screen.

Click the ‘Buy’ button on the fixture you wish to apply for (Portsmouth example listed below)

You’ll then see the below screen, where you’ll need to choose the number of seats you require and then click ‘Add to Basket'.

Assign each ‘seat’ to each individual supporter within your group, please remember to adhere to the latest Government guidelines and Tier restrictions.

If you’re attending alone, your details should show against this option already.

To assign any additional tickets, click on the ‘pencil icon’ by the current ‘Owner’. This will bring up your Friends and Family list to choose the person you wish to assign this ticket to. A supporter can only have one ticket assigned to their name, per game.

You will notice error messages until each ticket is assigned to a unique Supporter ID.

Once you’ve assigned all tickets to your group, the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button will then become active. Click on this to proceed.

As you are only entering a ballot, no tickets will be allocated at this stage. Finally, you must read and agree to the Club’s Supporter Code of Conduct and ticketing terms and conditions. By agreeing to these, the ‘Submit’ button will become active to allow you to finalise your ballot entry for this specific match.

You have now completed the ballot application process for yourself and all additional members of your bubble.

You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your ballot entry to the email address confirmed in the basket checkout.

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT IF I’M SUCCESSFUL IN THE BALLOT?

Season ticket holders will find out if they’ve been successful or not in the Portsmouth ballot by the close of play on Monday, 7 December via email.

Supporters will learn if they’ve been successful or not in the Burton ballot by the close of play on Wednesday, 9 December also via email.

WHAT DO I DO IF I’M SUCCESSFUL IN THE BALLOT?

You will receive an email informing you of the next steps which will be about selecting your seat(s).

You will have a choice of a print at home ticket, a mobile phone e-ticket or a traditional match ticket, which will be posted. The Club’s preference is that supporters choose the print at home or e-ticket option to reduce contact.

IF I’M NOT SUCCESSFUL FOR THE PORTSMOUTH GAME, WILL I BE GUARANTEED A TICKET FOR THE NEXT GAME?

The ballot will have rules in place to ensure a fair distribution of access to games amongst our 9000 season ticket holders. You’re therefore not guaranteed a ticket for the next game, but you will receive a ticket ahead of anybody who was successful for this game gaining access to another match.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO WATCH ON iFOLLOW?

All season ticket holders will continue to receive an iFollow code to watch home games, regardless of if they’ve been successful in the ballot or not.

IMPORTANCE OF EMAIL
