EMYR | RIGHT PLACE RIGHT TIME

15 December 2020

"It's important we use this to try and build momentum. We had to get the home form back on track and now we'll look forward"

Emyr Huws said it was a case of being in the right place at the right time as he scored the match winner against Burton this evening.

His header in the 80th minute saw Town return to winning ways with a 2-1 victory at Portman Road.

"It was tough but we really needed a result and we got it," the midfielder told iFollow Ipswich.

"When you get a few losses things can be hard, but we just need to keep trying to win games and keep going.

"It's important we use this to try and build momentum. We had to get the home form back on track and now we'll look forward.

"I was in the right place at the right time and thankfully managed to head it in after a bit of a scrap in the box. Oli [Hawkins] was keeping some of their defenders busy and my volley was saved but I was there for the follow-up.

"Personally I'm feeling good for Saturday and I'll be up for it. Our record against those teams is something we're looking to put right."
