Squad show support for region's hospitals and hospices
Town's first-team players have donated a sum of money to six local health providers to help spread some festive cheer.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Blues' first-team squad and staff haven't been able to conduct the usual Christmas visits to see staff and patients from across the region.
Unfortunately, the organisations were also unable to accept gifts due to the current restrictions.
Instead, Blues' players have shown their support from afar.
The donations will directly support EACH, St Nicholas Hospice and St Elizabeth Hospice while Ipswich Hospital (Children's Appeal), West Suffolk Hospital (My WiSH Charity) and Colchester Hospital (their children's ward) also chose a charity or cause to get behind with the financial boost.
A selection of the first-team squad also sent a video message to each of the organisations, thanking them for their continued hard work through these tough times, whilst wishing the staff and patients a merry Christmas.
