Tractor Girls’ captain excited ahead of historic FA Cup clash
Amanda Crump says it will be a proud moment when she leads her Tractor Girls' side out alongside her daughter at Women’s FA Cup holders Manchester City this afternoon.
The Town Women captain, who has been with the club for 14 years, says that her team have earned the chance to play against one of the World's best teams.
"This will be one of my career highlights so far," she told iFollow Ipswich. "That’s going to be a proud moment - standing there with my little daughter and the rest of the team behind me, going out and playing the biggest game of our lives.
"I don’t take it for granted. I feel lucky to be able to do that but obviously we deserve to be where we are and we deserve to be playing against the reigning champions."
