Town wing-back on loss against Posh
Gwion Edwards said Town's 4-1 defeat at home to Peterborough this afternoon 'hurt everyone at the Club.'
Blues were dismantled by Posh at Portman Road and have now lost successive games against fellow promotion-hopefuls following on from the loss away to Rotherham midweek.
"It's not nice to lose any game but to lose at home like that hurts a lot," the Welshman told iFollow Ipswich.
"It hurts everyone at the Club. I won't say what was said in the dressing room but of course we had an honest chat about the performance and result.
"The penalty changed the game and then we gifted them a second goal. We then created a few chances and the next goal was going to be crucial. They got it and put the game to bed - it's not good enough from us.
"I understand the fans' frustration as well. Like I said it hurts all of us so we need to try and stick together because there is a long way to go in the season.
"We have to try and put the game to bed because the trip to Sunderland next week will be very tough for the lads and there needs to be a reaction."
