Midfielder on stalemate at The Cherry Red Records Stadium

Flynn Downes said Town should be winning games against the likes of AFC Wimbledon after Paul Lambert's side drew 0-0 with the South West London outfit this evening.

James Norwood went closest for the visitors when he struck the crossbar late in the first half, but the shutout means Blues haven't scored from open play in four successive fixtures.

"No disrespect to Wimbledon but we should be winning these games," Flynn told iFollow Ipswich.

"They frustrated us and deserve credit but we know at this stage of the season we should be delivering.

"If we'd have got one goal tonight I think we'd have kicked on but we're struggling to find the net at the moment. Things just aren't going for us.

"The fans were there in their numbers again and like I said we should be winning these games.

"Confidence isn't low in the dressing-room because we're all in this together. We have to bounce back with a win on Saturday, simple as."
