Sky Blues come out on top in goal fest
Town U18s lost 4-3 away to Coventry City on Saturday afternoon.
Adem Atay's side took the lead against the Sky Blues but were unable to take anything from the game, despite Michael Bareck netting twice for the visitors.
Matt Healy fired Blues in front with a lovely free-kick but a defensive error and a penalty saw the hosts in front at half-time.
Coventry added a third at the start of the second half but Town were back in the game when good work from Colin Oppong was rewarded as Bareck bundled the ball in from close range.
The hosts restored their two-goal advantage in the 79th minute and Bareck netted a consolation for Blues in the dying stages with an impressive strike that found the top corner from just outside the box.
The U18s will be looking to bounce back when they host Bristol City at Playford Road on Saturday, 8 February [11am kick-off].
