"It's a real David and Goliath situation but it's a challenge we're looking forward to."

ITFC Women manager Joe Sheehan said his side will enjoy the occasion but also embrace the challenge when Town face Manchester City Women this weekend.

Joe is this week's guest on The Friday Night Show ahead of the Women's FA Cup fifth round tie at the Etihad Campus on Sunday [kick-off 2pm].

"We've been watching some of their players on TV for years. It's a real David v Goliath situation but we're looking forward to it," Joe said.

"It's a great opportunity for our girls to see how they get on against some of the best players in the game. They're one of the strongest teams in Europe let alone the country, and they're the reigning Women's FA Cup champions.

"Of course it is a huge day for the Club, but we do want to go there and execute our game plan. We've built a culture here on belief and playing without fear and I don't think that will switch off despite the occasion.

"Just because we're playing a team that is a whole new test, we can't change what we do and what we're about."

See The Friday Night Show on iFollow Ipswich at 6pm this evening.
