JOSH | NO ONE IS POINTING FINGERS

22 February 2020

Blues need to be more clinical at both ends, admits Josh

Josh Earl says that the whole team have to take responsibility after Town fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Oxford.

Town were made to pay for not making the most of their first half domination, with Matty Taylor's 44th minute strike proving to be decisive.

He told iFollow Ipswich: "Today was more frustrating because we were on top for the majority of the game.

"We were on top, we created chances but we conceded a sloppy goal just before half-time. No one is poining fingers. We’ve conceded and the attackers haven’t scored.

"They’ve had their one chance and put it away. We’ve got to be more clinical and we’ve got to defend that one chance as well."
