Defender ahead of AFC Wimbledon clash

Josh Earl is confident Town can bounce back from three successive defeats with a victory away to AFC Wimbledon this evening.

Blues travel to The Cherry Red Records Stadium looking to return to the Play-Off places, and Josh is hoping to play his part in South West London having made his debut for the Club at the weekend.

"I was delighted to put the shirt on for the first time and I've got a taste for it now," the defender told iFollow Ipswich.

"It was a tough game to come into but I thought the lads played well in the first half and I'm confident we can bounce back.

"We need to put the poor results behind us and just do everything we can to win as many games as we can for the remainder of the season.

"The league is incredibly tight. One defeat sends you down a few spots and a little run can take you up the table. Hopefully we can get some momentum with a win against Wimbledon before back to back home games because we need to start winning again."
