Vincent-Young could be back by the end of the month
Paul Lambert is hopeful that Kane Vincent-Young will be back in first-team contention by the end of the month.
The August signing from Colchester has been sidelined since the end of October after having surgery to repair a sportsman’s hernia followed by a second operation to an adductor tendon problem.
“Kane is doing really well and making good progress,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.
“If he continues as he is, he may be back by the end of the month. He’s a very fit lad so we will see from there how quickly we can re-introduce back into the first-team.
“It was a blow losing him at the time because he had been excellent for us but hopefully he’ll be back sooner rather than later.”
