BLACKPOOL TOO EARLY FOR KANE

28 February 2020

Vincent-Young and Rowe closing in on return

Paul Lambert says Kane Vincent-Young and Danny Rowe are making good progress but won’t be in contention for Saturday’s trip to Blackpool.

Kane has been sidelined since November following surgery on an adductor tendon injury while Danny is also a long term absentee after having an operation on a knee problem.

“Kane is doing okay. He’s out on the grass and kicking a ball now which is great,” Town boss Paul told iFollow Ipswich.

“We are pleased with his progress. He’s a naturally fit lad so when he’s back, it will only be game time that he is missing but it’s a bit too early for him this weekend.

“Danny is also doing well. Like Kane he’s been a big loss because he was playing really well. He’s working with Kane and hopefully it won’t be too long before he’s ready to go as well.”
