“Luke’s injury wasn’t as bad as first feared. He will train today and we will see how he is but he has a chance"
Luke Garbutt and Teddy Bishop are in contention for a return to the Town squad for Saturday’s game against Burton.
Everton loanee Luke has missed the last two games with a thigh injury while Teddy has had a knee problem.
“We may have them both back for the weekend,” Town boss Paul Lambert told the Club website.
“Luke’s injury wasn’t as bad as first feared. He will train today and we will see how he is but he has a chance.
“I’ve been really happy with his performances. He’s scored goals and got a few assists as well. His delivery from set-pieces is terrific so if he’s available, that gives us another weapon.
“Teddy trained yesterday and we will see how he is. It’s been stop-start again for him. He’s had a lot of injury problems over the last three years but has worked hard to get back.
“Everyone can see the boy has ability and he provides something different but he can’t do that sitting in the stands.
"That’s the challenge to Teddy now; he needs be fit and playing games week in, week out over the rest of this season, and next year and the one after that.”
