Young Blues come from behind twice to beat Robins at Playford Road
Town U18s beat Bristol City 5-3 at Playford Road on Saturday morning.
The Young Blues came from behind twice to overcome the Robins in a Professional Development League Two clash.
The visitors took the lead almost 20 minutes in but Town equalised on the half-hour mark through Harley Curtis. Allan Viral found Curtis with a neat pass, before the midfielder broke into the penalty area and found the net.
Seven minutes later Bristol City were ahead again, but a 44th minute goal from Michael Bareck saw the scores level at half-time.
Town pressed after the restart and were rewarded for their efforts in the 58th minute as Viral won possession on the half way line before bursting forward and toe-poking the ball into the net from inside the area.
The lead only lasted a few minutes, though, as Bristol City levelled just after the hour mark to make it 3-3.
Adem Atay's side hit back in the 67th minute when Alfie Cutbush produced a good finish from the edge of the box and Colin Oppong secured the three points in the dying stages when he converted from the penalty spot.
