'Big three points' says midfielder after Town come from behind away to Tranmere

Flynn Downes thinks Town are 'back at it' having come from behind to beat Tranmere 2-1 at Prenton Park yesterday.

The Blues midfielder headed Paul Lambert's side level before Kayden Jackson produced the match winner with a delightful lob as Town remained unbeaten in the league this calendar year.

"It was a big three points that we needed. We dug in and showed great spirit," Flynn told iFollow Ipswich.

"We knew it would be tough and that we wouldn't be able to pop the ball around like we usually like to do, but we got the job done and that's all that matters.

"Even a goal down we were confident. The gaffer thought we were playing well so we stuck at it but also stepped it up in the second half.

"I think we're back at it and picking up good results. We had a spell where we were down and lacking a bit of confidence but everyone in the team is playing well at the moment."
