“We worked hard and everyone played their part. The first-half especially we were right on it"
Kayden Jackson is looking for Town to build on the impressive showing against Accrington.
The striker opened the scoring for Blues against his former club with an early goal as Town ran out 4-1 winners at Portman Road to end a run of two months without a league win.
The victory takes Blues up to third with a game in hand and a visit to fellow promotion chasers Oxford to follow on Tuesday.
“It’s great to end that run and be back near the top of the table,” Kayden told iFollow Ipswich.
“We worked hard and everyone played their part. The first-half especially we were right on it.
“Getting the first goal was massive for us. It gave us the momentum and then to get the second and third before half-time really put us in a good position.
“It is obviously important to get back to winning ways and now we have to build on that and take it into Tuesday night.”
