Earl will add to options and no bids received for Blues says boss
Paul Lambert says Josh Earl will provide options for Town at the back and added that it will take big offers for him to let players leave the Club.
Preston loanee Josh was on the bench for the goalless draw at Oxford, having joined the Club to the end of the season while Flynn Downes and Luke Woolfenden continue to be the subject of speculation during the January transfer window.
“It was important that we got someone in with Toto going on loan to Bolton,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.
“Josh is left footed. He can play left-back as well as left side of the middle so he gives us options.
“We have told him what we want from him, how he can contribute and hopefully he will really enjoy his time here.
“I don’t know if Josh will be the only player we will bring in, possibly. We’ve not got the money to go out and do this and that, and that’s fine.
“I’ve heard about the speculation about our players but you always get that. We’ve not had any bids and for anyone to leave, first it has to be right for me and for the Club. No way are we letting players go on the cheap.”
