Turn the town blue scheme close to the magic ton

The Club are within touching distance of reaching a century of companies who have signed up to the Show Your Colours campaign.

Town kicked off the season with a target of linking up with 100 local businesses to turn the town into a sea of blue.

Businesses were asked to show their support for the Club by displaying a flag or banner at their premises in a prominent position as part of the Show Your Colours initiative.

Every business that has joined the Show Your Colours campaign and displayed a flag or banner has received two tickets for each home league game at Portman Road this season to use as prizes for customers or their staff.

The campaign has also seen businesses sign up in Bury St Edmunds and plans are being discussed to take the scheme further into the county next season but the Club have not quite reached that century mark yet.

“We are just a few short of 100," Town’s marketing manager, Neil Hawes, told the Club website.

“It’s a campaign that has gone down really well and hopefully we can get to that century over the next few weeks.”
