BOSS LOOKS ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

22 July 2020

"We are all in it together and we need to stick together if we are to be successful"

Paul Lambert says the players mustn’t forget the positive things from last season as well as learn from the negatives as he looks for Town to get it right for 2020/21.

Blues have begun the build-up to new campaign with pre-season training now underway and the boss has reiterated the importance of sticking together and taking some of the elements of the 2019/20 campaign that saw Town in the automatic promotion places in January before falling away.

“We have to learn from last season. We all do,” Paul told the Club website. “I have looked at myself and what I could have changed. I always do that.

“I’ll speak to the lads and ask them for their opinions. We are all in it together and we need to stick together if we are to be successful.

“Results hurt us over the last two months, having been top in January but we mustn’t forget the good things we did either.

“It’s about looking forward now and I’m more determined than ever to get it right next season.”
