And one has already made his first-team bow
Tawanda Chirewa is among the seven new recruits taking up a two year scholarship with the Club’s Academy from the 2020/21 season.
The midfielder has already got a Town first-team appearance to his name, becoming the second youngest player in Blues’ history when he came on as a late substitute in the Leasing.com Trophy defeat at Colchester last November aged just 16 years and 31 days.
Tawanda is joined at the Academy by midfielder Cameron Humphreys; defensive trio Sean Stephenson, Albie Armin and Harry Knock, striker Mohammed Hoque and goalkeeper Lewis Ridd.
Lewis joins Town from Swansea City while the other six have all progressed through the younger age groups at the Academy.
No date has been confirmed yet for the scholars to report to Playford Road for the new season.
