Boss hopeful on midfield duo but Rowe and Vincent-Young set to miss out
Cole Skuse and Emyr Huws are both in contention for Town's meeting with League One leaders Coventry City at Portman Road tomorrow.
The midfield pair missed Tuesday night's game with Fleetwood Town with shin and toe problems respectively, but are training this morning ahead of Saturday's clash with the Sky Blues.
"We'll see this morning how they're getting on," Blues manager Paul Lambert said.
"Hopefully they'll be okay but we will have to see after training, that's when we'll know more.
"There are one or two knocks from the other night but that's normal. Again we'll have a medical meeting today."
The Town boss also said that Kane Vincent-Young has suffered a minor setback on his recovery from a groin operation, while Danny Rowe is making good progress having returned to full training earlier this week.
The pair will both miss tomorrow's match, though.
"Danny is back on the grass and Kane has done a little bit but it's not fair on the guys to put them in tomorrow," Paul added.
"Kane had a little feeling on his groin but I don't think it's too much. He hasn't done anything for a long time so we have to be careful.
"It's the same with Danny. He has had a couple of training sessions but having been out the amount of time he has, that's not quite enough."
